Social Worker in Harmful Use and Dependency

The Harmful Use and Dependency Work Group is part of the Adult and Disability Unit. In the unit, we also work with target groups such as the elderly, disabilities, and domestic violence. The combination of target groups in the unit gives us good conditions to see the whole individual and work together with the individual to ensure that different interventions collaborate with each other. The Harmful Use and Dependency Work Group consists of a group leader who provides support in daily work and three social workers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker in harmful use and dependency, you will work with the target group from 18 years old. You will assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions in accordance with relevant legislation, primarily the Social Services Act and the Care of Abusers Act in certain cases. The work is based on the individual's needs, and we highly value the right to self-determination and participation. In Nässjö municipality, we actively work with home-based solutions, which involves close collaboration with our colleagues in implementation. Our approach is that multiple perspectives enrich, which is why we work on continuous improvements and development together across unit boundaries and with a user perspective.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer, together with experience, assesses as equivalent. Experience working with the target group of harmful use and dependency, as well as experience in public authority exercise, is considered an asset.

As a person, you are meticulous and independent and can easily handle when conditions and planning change in your work. Since the job involves many contacts, both internally and externally, you should have good collaboration skills, be outgoing and positive. You should have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone with a driver's license.
